Participants skiing or snowboarding on TAF’s indoor revolving slopes (the "Slopes") must have a signed "Release of Liability and Indemnification Agreement" form on file. Participants 18 years old or older must present a valid photo ID upon submitting these forms to verify their information. If the Participant is under 18 years of age,a Parent or Legal Guardian must sign it for them.
Everyone must check in at the front counter before entering the Slopes area. Lessons are by appointment only; walk-in requests are subject to availability of Instructors and staff.
All Participants and Spectators must comply with the instructions, judgment and decisions of TAF staff on duty in the Center.
Participants may not enter the Slopes area until the beginning of their lesson, and only when directed by their Instructor. Spectators (non-skiers/snowboarders) are never permitted on the Slopes or Slope platforms, and must remain in the viewing area.
TAF accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, cash or personal checks. A credit card is required to hold any package, event or camp. There is a $30 fee for all returned checks. Coupons and/or discounts may not be combined. All pricing information has been carefully checked but is subject to typographic errors.
Participants are strongly recommended to arrive at the Center at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of their lesson, to allow for enough time at check-in and to put on equipment. If a Participant is late for a lesson, their lesson will end on time so that the next lesson may begin as scheduled. Should this happen, Participant’s lesson will be charged in full.
TAF requires a 24-hour cancellation notice for single lessons (either stand-alone or one lesson within a package), including Membership lessons. Failure to provide a 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule a scheduled lesson will result in forfeiture of that lesson without a refund. Event bookings require a 48-hour cancellation notice. Event cancellations received at least 24 hours but less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time are eligible for a 50% refund of the full amount. Camp bookings require a 7-day cancellation notice. Camp cancellations received at least 48 hours but less than 7 days prior to the scheduled start time are entitled to a 50% refund of the amount paid. Cancellations of lesson(s), events or camps outside of the above stated notices will result in a charge to the credit card for the full amount of the lesson(s), event or camp.
Only appropriate clothing will be permitted for skiers and snowboarders. Comfortable workout attire is recommended. Long pants and long sleeve shirts are strongly recommended. Please wear a pair of long socks; breathable, athletic styles work best.
The use of cellular phones, headphones or other electronic devices is prohibited while skiing or snowboarding on the slopes. Participants are aware that personal belongings in unsecured pockets may fall out, and they assume any risk of damage or loss.
Street shoes, coats etc. must be stored away from the Slopes and platforms. TAF is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Participants may bring their own ski boots or snowboard boots, or they may use TAF’s. Only ski and snowboarding equipment approved by TAF staff may be used on the Slopes.
Participants must use skis and snowboards provided by TAF. Only TAF Instructors are allowed to adjust bindings – no exceptions. Participants may not bring their own skis or snowboards inside TAF’s Center, unless expressly permitted as part of an equipment or tuning clinic.
Helmet use is required while on the Slopes. If using one of TAF’s helmets, use of a hairnet (provided) is required.
Use of non-ski/snowboarding equipment belonging to TAF is only permitted under supervision of a staff member of TAF.
TAF has the right to photograph and/or video activities within the Center and may use Participants’ and Spectators’ name, face, likeness, voice and appearance, in connection with social media, publicity, advertising, and promotional materials without reservation or limitation.
Children under the age of 14 must be supervised by an adult while in the Center, unless they are taking part in a day camp offered by TAF. Children younger than 6 years old may be restricted from participating in skiing or snowboarding at TAF, depending on their readiness to participate and their physical size. If in doubt of your child’s ability to ski or snowboard, please discuss with a Manager of TAF prior to booking.
No outside snacks, food, chewing gum or beverages (except bottled water) are allowed on the Slopes or Slope platforms. Snacks and beverages are available for purchase. Please use the viewing area tables or team room (if available) for consuming snacks and beverages. Catering is available for groups, upon request at least 48 hours prior to your group’s session.
Monthly Pass Members will have their account credited with one group lesson (ski or snowboard) on the 1st of each month. Weekly Pass Members will have their account credited with one group lesson (ski or snowboard) every Monday of each week. Unused lessons will remain in the Member’s account for later use. Membership is a minimum of 6 months with auto-renew, month-to-month after initial term ends. Members are required to keep a valid credit card on file, which will be charged once a month based on their Membership level selected. Membership is not transferable. A one-time processing fee of $15 applies.
Lesson Packages are not transferrable. The full number of lessons within the package will be added to the Participant’s account at time of purchase. Participant may schedule all lessons at time of booking or may hold unscheduled lessons in their account to schedule at a later time for flexibility. Unused portions of any lesson package will not be refunded.
Pricing is guaranteed based on the number of participants quoted when booked. If more participants show up than disclosed at booking, additional charges will apply. A 50% deposit by credit card is due at the time of booking. For children’s parties, parents/ guardians remain responsible for children’s conduct at all times.
Camps are offered for a set schedule as published. Full camp tuition is due at the time of booking. Make-up sessions will not be offered for Participants who miss one or more sessions and/or experience late arrivals. Camps are personal and not transferable. Camps including an add-on indoor Slope orientation lesson must schedule that lesson to occur prior to the first day of camp.
All product returns must be unworn and accompanied by a receipt. Product returns will only be accepted within 15 days of original purchase. All returns will be refunded with a gift card from TAF. Gift cards are not refundable or redeemable for cash, and may not be used for concessions.
Only TAF staff is permitted to teach skiing or snowboarding in the Center, unless a certificate of insurance is provided naming The Alpine Factory LLC as additional insured.
No skiing or snowboarding is allowed while under the influence of intoxicating substances. The use of profane language or inappropriate conduct will result in loss of the remainder of the lesson without a refund.
Any infractions of the above rules will result in loss of that lesson. Repeated infractions will result in loss of Membership privileges.
